As part of our work around early Childhood Development, the PCC launched a children’s library on Saturday 23rd March 2013. The Library was officially launched by Dr Lesley Jacob (now late), director of the Cultural Centre based in the office of the Indian Council General in Durban. The aim was to stock children’s books and make them available on loan to various creches from time to time. A programme was also tun by the library to recite children’s stories and to teach children how to read.
